It is, and it is so long cause on a Blazer its top is way in front of the front of the rear fender well. Being on the Suburban because of the rear door, it has to sit way far back. Unless someone wants to shorten the top, which might not look all so good. Hope that makes sense.

For a comparison, there is a huge difference when you put a Suburban top on a blazer, looks a little more like it should. I do like both though!

I was thinking the same thing. But man I wouldn't even know where to start on that. What do you do for the B-pillar?I would guess you would need to brace the body some how to keep it rigid.Maybe cage it.

You know, International Harvester made their Terra's and Traveler's with full removable hard tops. They were 118" wheel base SUV's basically. But I bet you could use the same idea there.

Re: Check this Suburban out

Same basic principle as the Scout's. Everything from the windshield frame was removable, and you could swap the "full" tops with the "truck" tops. This particular one is a Scout, but Travelers were the same thing only with a longer wheel base.

Re: Check this Suburban out

my cheap and easy idea was to weld/bolt in a bar that would go from side to side right under the top of the front seat back.

the right way would be to triangulate a brace off the b pillar to the floor, and the attach another body mount to the frame in that spot.

suiciding the rear doors would also take some pressure off the area-and would look cool too!
