Flywheel Cover..

I've got my 70 with a 5.7 350 and the Flywheel cover isn't fitting. Are there different sizes?

Re: Flywheel Cover..

If you have a TH350 'K' case, they had an aluminum pan. Could be your problem...got pics?

TH 350 had 4 bolts, "K" case has 6

Re: Flywheel Cover..

haha yea i had that problem too on my 72 (th350, not a k case)...did you get it from LMC? cause all of the holes were a good 1/4-1/2 inch off. turns out it was the part of the cover that covers the starter, it was running up against it. i had to shear it with some tin snips to make it fit.
