I have a 454 in my 71 gmc 3/4 ton. we moved all mounte 2-3/4" foward. Retubed reardrive, shortened front driveline.(if you are going to lift the truck you may want to wait for measurments on drive lines,4 core radiator,slight shift linkage mods.
