VIN help

While in the middle of stripping down project # 2 I happened to find the RPO tag from under the carpet haha Im looking for some help to decipher what she had for original goodies most of of it is basic or able to find on the net but a couple codes aren't available or I just couldn't find em

GQ1 (rear end-standard) with a MX0 (700r4)
ZQ2

YUZ

Ldd1 is interior code ...blue cloth bench in 79

zq2 is convenience grp...pw,pdl

xuz etc are tire codes ;front,rear,spare

the uz is the code for tire size;would need to know year of truck to look up

gq1 is std ratio;this will vary with motor/gvw ratings

Ah - that's the SPID label. It is supposed to be attached to the glove box; it must have come loose and ended up under the carpet.

I think 80Sport has answered all your RPO questions, or did you have more?

Well 2 things has a set of blue cloth buckets seats would these be original?? Also looking to see what gears would have been in it being a 305, 700r4??? Also the owner I purchased the truck from indicated to me it was a Big Ten is there a way of telling this by the VIN?? Any help would be appreciated THANKS

1984 unit ...built in Canada at Oshawa

Gvw 6000 to 7000

Last year for factory buckets was 81 and pickup buckets were vinyl...no cloth

1/2 ton 4x4

I don't have a parts book for 84 but your local chevy parts dept could look up std ratio rear end.

Standard axle for '84 K10703, L05 (305 cu in), MXO is 3.42 (per the powertrain chart included in the '84 brochure).
