CPP rear shock relocation brackets
Selfish question... I bought a CPP rear shock relocation kits and was planning to install... I have sandblasted and freshly painted my chassis... but I forgot to grind the rivots to remove to old upper shock brackets. I know I can go back and do it (even though I hate to), but the question is... do the shock relocation brackets make that big of a difference? Are they worth it?
thanks as always guys. |

Re: CPP rear shock relocation brackets
I think you'll want them. it will certainly help the ride. you could wait and see what angle the shocks are when its lower and on the ground.

Re: CPP rear shock relocation brackets
Thats the same drop I have in my 69 GMC Short bed, The shocks are not effective at all leaving them stock. The Shock relocator kit is a must if you want any shock damping at all. The difference is night and day.

Re: CPP rear shock relocation brackets
Would you advise the same need for the brackets on a leaf spring truck with a flip kit?
