Anybody ever dealt with discountrvandtruck.com?
Hey all,
I need to get my front bench seat redone in my suburban, and after lots of drooling over others peoples rides and custom seat installations I decided to look around for something. I really like the 40/20/20 seats, but needed something that would be a near direct fit. I found this online and wanted to know if anyone has ever dealt with this company before and what sort of quality I can expect if i purchase. Here is a link to the seats I am looking for. http://www.discountvantruck.com/suv4...sInnovator.htm Thanks guys, Kurt |

Look like nice seats me, but let me tell ya a story. My 79 had some 60/40 highback seats like that in it. Because of the recline angle of the back of the seat, and me being a big guy, I couldn't get far enough away from the steering wheel to be comfortable. the top of the seats went all the way against the window.
And to answer your original question, no I have not dealt with them.

Thanks for insight babyJay, but I am putting these into my suburban and am only 5'11" and about 160 - so I think that I can recline in comfort haha.
And for anyone wondering, I spoke to them on the phone today and they said the seats are each made to order in America, so I don't think that they will be low quality. |

What about finding a setup from a newer truck/burb/tahoe.. that's what I'm planning on my 73 c10.. most junkyards have decent pricing on them..

Re: Anybody ever dealt with discountrvandtruck.com?
My logic is as follows:
Finding a 40/20/20 seat with the fold down cup holder center console, with the seat heaters, and in the color I want would be very difficult. Furthermore, I do not have access to a welder where my car is at school - and these seats have universal mounting (you just have to buy a 45 dollar adapter kit for each vehicle). Recovering my bench will cost about 300 for just a stock rebuild by a quality shop. So long story short, for some extra coin I can have all the options I want, in the color I want, with the convenience of bolting it all in by going with them. Just want to make sure they are quality - not junk. Guess when I order them I can send them back if they look like crap - but since he said they are all hand built to order - it would be a long shot that they aren't decent quality |

By the way, my suburban is in NY - don't even know of a decent junkyard around me anyways - So I would have to pay shipping regardless
