Cab sheet metal

Looking for some really cheap sheet metal for my 76. This is a beater work truck, nothing special. If I was doing a resto on some thing really nice I would buy the good stuff. Just need to got some better metal on cab floors besides barn tin that farmer I bought it from put on it.

How bad could these be? I know they will prob fit like crap, but even the good stuff from goodmark does from what Ive heard. My biggest concern would be if they are about as thick as a pop can. I plan on doing bed liner on the floors top and bottom anyway, so if theres lots of patching involved with them its no big deal to me.

Anybody bought these or know anybody that has. I dont to buy them and waste the cash.

Re: Cab sheet metal

please do not take this as an insult as its not meant as one...but i even tell my wife this all the time... garbage bought at any price is never worth the cost...I would visit our site vendors and get a good quality replacement part or youll be doing the same repair alot sooner than you hoped for..

Re: Cab sheet metal

I have to agree with Bob, it's cheap for a reason. Regardless of the price it still takes the same effort to install. Even more if its made poorly.

Check with Capt Kaos in the Vendor Marketplace. He has quality pieces at a fair price, and great customer service.

Re: Cab sheet metal

Best thing to do there would probably pick up the phone and call around. I would say mainly because it will probably vary depending alot.
