Factory Cab Lights
Where can I find some reproduction cab lights for my 1970 CST? The originals are getting faded and cracked and i would like some new ones for when it gets repainted this spring/summer.
I believe they are the "fireman cap(?)" style with one Phillips head screw on either side and a slant back. Also, what type of bulb do they take? I would like to buy a set of amber LEDs. Thanks guys |

Re: Factory Cab Lights
They take mini-lamps,like the side markers and dash lights. The lenses are available at good parts stores. They were used from 70-91.

Re: Factory Cab Lights
194 is correct. 168 works too with more light. LEDs normally don't look too good in them.
The fireman's hat style is actually 71 - 90-something, but will work. The original hocky puck lamps are not produced anymore, but NOS ones show up from time to time on e bay. The firemans hat style can be had new at napa. |

Re: Factory Cab Lights
I don't mean to be contrary, but I've had a few original '70s with the fireman's hat style lenses. The Guides actually say 69 on them. '91 was the last year in Light Duty V/R series trucks. They were also used on Medium Duties, but I can't recall if those bodies changed in '92.
