Re: any one ever make

Seems like I heard of someone building one, just don't remember where. I think it would be way too short to pull it off, but that's just me.

The second pic you posted of the blue one is the Blazer dropd80s was talking about. I actually took that pic you posted. That was the first time I spotted it out of the shop.

Some more:

Re: any one ever make

These things look really cool and different, though they aren't practical at all, the wheelbase is way too short to tow anything that you'd need a dually for.

The only actual advantage to this would be like some of the above pictures with the really fat single rear wheel for drag racing and stuff.

Cool nonetheless.

Re: any one ever make

Ahh, to Hell with practicality. It's all about the coolness factor. I sure as heck wouldn't tow anything bigger than a pair of jet skis with a Blazer, dually or not, but I'd sure as hell love to have a dually Blazer laid out on the ground. BTW, my dually Blazer wouldn't have a hitch at all.

Re: any one ever make

Seriously considering doing this with my 2wd/81........Just because. And helps that I have all the parts needed to convert/complete it sitting here in the back yard. I have a cab and chassis rear diff so could consider some 22.5s if I could justify the rediculous cost of running them, or cut down a narrower version of the dually fenders and tuck most of a stock set of 16's or 19.5s under it.
