63-66 Factory Automatic Cross Member
I have a few things from a parts truck I can't use and would like an idea of their value.
This is the crossmember from a parts truck I bought. The truck is a 1965 C20 3/4 ton 2wd. I bought the truck from a friend of the family about a year ago so I could put the rust free cab on my 64 k10 1/2 ton 4wd. The motor and transmission were removed from the truck and put in his Camero when he could not afford to build both. The truck had a factory automatic column that I believe to be original to the truck. The engine and trans were removed before I bought it, and the crossmember was in the bed under some trash that came with the truck. It looks to me that it is original but I don't know much about the 2wd trucks. It has the cross member and two brackets that go up to the top of the frame, they are riveted to the cross member. There are four extra holes (one in each corner) that have been drilled for unknown reasons. Does it look like the correct factory automatic cross member for the 63-66 trucks? What's it worth? Thanks, Daniel |

Re: 63-66 Factory Automatic Cross Member
I believe the cross member might be the same from 64 to 72.Is the auto column for a power glide or turbo.
