Headliner foam
I pulled my headliner tonight to get ready to re wrap it in suede. After pulling the barely hanging on cloth off of it I realized how bad of shape this thing is in.
Is there somewhere to get an uncovered replacement foam? Everything I've found is ABS plastic, which is okay I guess, but it's expensive. Is there somewhere to buy the foam for less than $170? |

Re: Headliner foam
I found a decent bone yard one along with all the reveal moldings and a decent set of visors for 20 skins...
*** note: the foam you see is the remnant of the foam backed headliner cloth... that you will scrape/wirebrush off of the headliner shell.. The shell is some kind of fiberglass pressed product.... back in the day, we used to reinforce them with fiberglass resin and cloth.if it was really bad around the visor holes....Mix the resin and brush it on interior side of the shell- it will stiffen them up considerable. |
