Rick is looking for an alt. bracket. I found one at the junkyard but forgot to take a pic. It was a 68 chevy with a drivers alt. bracket. But not like mine.

(Picture is MY truck). The junkyard truck has a similar bracket. Anyone have a pic of this style bracket so I can ask rick if he needs this or not?!

Are you talkin about the 67-68 style alternator bracket that mount to the exhaust & water pump? If so, I got some pics

Yes, that is correct. the 67-68 alternator brackets do not mount to the heads, just the water pump and exhaust mainifold.

thank god! i told john to get the 69 72 mounts! i dont have 67 68 exhaust manifolds i have the ones with out any bloting areas in the front....thank you john and oldgold70c10!!!!!!!!!! JOHN PM SENT!

so if the alternator mounts to the exhaust manifold how do you put headers on cause i want to on my truck but that is what has stumped me about putting them on thanks
