New 86 LWB, Cam ?
Hello all, i just recently purchased a stock 1986 lwb, 305 with a posi tract 2.43 rear end, the truck is running dual 40 series flowmasters, i am wanting to put a new camshaft in it my buddies run some thumpr cams in there cars an trucks and the sound great, i was lookin for some recommendations on the thumpr or lunati cams, i personally just want a good sound with a nice thump since the truck will be used as a daily driver, any help would be appreciated,

Re: New 86 LWB, Cam ?
i dont know much about the "Thumpr" cams... but i realy like the lope on the Comp Camps 280H, makes any small block sound mean! And its a nice mild cam with lots of low end torque for a DD, thats what i plan on running in my 86 305

Call comp and get a recommendation on a cam. They will tell you what you need.
