Differences between 67-68 and 69-72 cabs
What are the differences between the 67-68 and 69-72 cabs? I mean, besides the obvious small back window and e-brake location. If a '67 trucks cab is damaged beyond repair can a 69-72 cab be used as a replacement without looking odd or out of place?

yes it can be used... only small differences that would hardly be noticed by a pro... Just tell them it's a panoramic window 67...

Thanks Big Mike. I wonder if the 67 e-brake handle can be mounted under a 71 dash?

the top of the windshield frame is different also. It wouldn't effect a swap but it's different

Re: Differences between 67-68 and 69-72 cabs
If you really wanted to you could swap a '67 dash into any cab through '72. I'm building a '67 GMC Super Custom big window looking truck from scratch ('72 cab/'71 frame) and considered this, but pretty much decided it's not worth it. I'm not trying at all to pass it off as authentic. Just want it to look like one when you see it. The e-brake assembly could also be swapped, but not real simple
