Bumper Ideas?

I am changing my front and rear bumpers on my 87 swb due to one minor dent on the front and the rear has this redneck bumper on it that I am not to fond of. (sorry if your a redneck) I wanna go back with a oem style bumper. I have seen a couple pics and trucks at car shows that seem to have the bumper sit closer to the body than normal which I think gives it an awesome look. Is there a certain bumper like this or is it a proceess of cutting the brackets to give it that look? and Also which site would yall recc. I purchase the bumopers from with the best prices because LMC seems to want alot for their bumpers. Thank yall for any help!

Re: Bumper Ideas?

LMC is pretty much the only place I use, so I can't help you there, but I know that on those trucks where the bumpers sit further in they slotted the mount holes on the bumper.

Re: Bumper Ideas?

I got my Front bumper from LMC. They have a 5 year warranty on the chrome if you get the premium bumper. nobody else I came across even had a warranty on their chrome, which tells me they sell crap. The fit and finish was as good as the original bumper was and the chrome looks really good on mine.

The bumper bolts everybody sells aren't mirror polished like mine, I had to put mineon the buffing wheel to get the shine on em.
