Going to be lowered Monday

Hey guys, been on here for awhile and thought I'd finally show you a picture of the 65. It's from Boone NC had it shipped here to MI there is no rust anywhere and the interior is like new. It's a six/three on the tree and runs and drives great with 80013 actual miles. It's headed to a friend's shop Monday to be lowered. I'll try to post more pics later.

Re: Going to be lowered Monday

Thanks Guy's!!!! I'm really excited with it and the wife even likes it!!!! She hated my other truck. One thing I need, is to put seatbelts in it, other than that she's pretty much ready to go!!

Re: Going to be lowered Monday

Yeah, it will stay rust free as it's a toy to be driven on nice days only. I'm doing a 4.5 / 4 inch drop. Heres a couple of shots of the inside. It's actually in the shop now for the slam.

Re: Going to be lowered Monday

OK got the truck back from my buddy's shop last Thursday.... the drop turned out great!!!! 4" rear 4.5" front. It does have attitude now. It is going back to his shop tomorrow to have the top painted white and the clearcoat is peeling real bad, I think we will sand it down and prime some of it. I will post pictures soon!!

How'd you drop it, front and rear? Springs and spindles in front, and springs in the rear? Or springs all around?

I cant get over your stance and was looking at springs all around but im not sure what it would entail; relocating shocks, trimming bump stops, or any adjustments for that matter.

Also, what vendor did you get your springs from?

Sorry for the bombardment of questions.
