dome light,cig lighter? poppin fuse?hot?

ok,so where does the orange and black wire off the cig lighter go? because mines not working, and i cant really track the wire down.

and how come my dome light wont work?
i got a brand new bulb, traced all wiring(all good condition) and tested with a test light and get no hot juice in it at all, anywhere.the courtesy foot light works off both doors jamb switches, but my dome light wont work?wtfs goin on?

and on the fuse box, glass push-in fuse type...what does the fuse spot labeled "accy" go to?(it only says accy, other is chipped off)
it pops fuses as soon as it makes connection to each side, and even got a piece of foil i put in there so hot it almost melted.
what in the hell is goin on?what does that fuse spot go to?

i need helpp!pleaseeee

make sure you have the cig lighter removed from its socket before replacing fuse.
this is usually the cause for the blown fuse.

Orange and black should go to the fuse block, as stated above, remove the lighter then replece fuse. To check circut, first check all fuses, then ground test light at the lighter and CAREFULLY probe the contact at the bottom of the lighter bore.Next, the dome light. All the courtesy lamps are on 1 circut. Seeing as all the under dash lights work the feed is good to them as is the ground supplied from the door switches. Take the lens off the light that don't work. With your test light grounded anyplace probe the orange wire at the bulb, it should light. If it dosen't, the orange wire is open someplace. If it does light the white wire is open between the light and the door jamb switch. jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.

You may want to check the dome light socket. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=441703
