cab mount bushings - poly or rubber?

Hey All, Just wanted to ask about this. I just recieved a set of cab mount bushings for my 62 and I got poly instead of rubber. SOme guys are now telling me the poly bushings are squeaky. ALso they are hard as hell, which surprised me. SO....should I have gotten rubber? Any of you guys use poly and have had any issues?

THanks,
Mark

Re: cab mount bushings - poly or rubber?

Depends on what you want. Poly will give you less body roll but you may feel bumps more. Rubber will give a softer ride but the body will lean more in turns. I know poly suspension bushings can be squeaky if you don't grease them up good but cab mounts don't move too much and shouldn't be to bad. I have poly on mine but I have a loud, rumbling motor so I wouldn't be able to hear them if they did squeak.
