95 Yukon Build. Project name "Altered"
Hello everyone. I am new to the forum and just wanted to shoe you the build that i started Friday. 4-15-2011.. I will update often with alot of pictures....
I will be converting it to 2wd from 4wd. Keeping the 6 lug bolt pattern. All custom interior. Bagging. Built motor and tranny. List goes on and on. Here are pics of when i first picked it up 4-15-2011 Well this is after a little work 4-16-2011 I did not really notice this when i purchased it. |

One more thing. I am not real sure i want to body drop this. But i do think i am going to cut off alot of the lower section of the frame and run 2x4 tubing on the inside.. This would allow me to drop another 3 inches untill the frame hits. Worst case i may have to z the frame later and lower the body mounts a little. Not looking really to drag rocker i mean it would be nice and all but y......

It look to have a about 3 in. between tha floor & frame. jus clip it & lower tha body mounts..

That would be alot easier than z n it and all that. i can clip it, lower the body mounts and cut off the lower section of the frame... Wow. I love you guys.. In a manly way ( and yes i am saying that in a DEEP voice.....) LOL

Ok couple update. Been building myself a lttle shop. 105x65. Finally done.
So back to work. 355 chevy engine alum heads 197 cc runner 64cc comb chamber. weiand 144 blower 750 carb compcams nx274h with comp springs and works Double roller timing chain. Msd dist, wires and plugs. 4.56 or 5.13 gears i already have a fully built th350 3500-4000 stallbut dont know if i can use 5.13 gears with it b/c no overdrive. 28-30 inch tall tire bagged to lay frame not rocker. dual 40 series flows on 2.5 exhaust with x pipe. long tube headers. Vintage heat air box for smooth firewall all digital guages with custom dash. 2 tone paint 20" wheels Not sure on tire size or wheel brand and style yet. |

Here are a couple pics of the outside. Still waiting on roll up doors to get here so we built some makeshift doors so we could close the shop up.

I Wish. almost done with shop. Waiting on gravel to be delivered so that I can actually pull into shop yard. I did build my 700 though so it is ready and ordered a 3800 stall. I am defiantly ready to get back on it. Oh I did kinda start on a 53 Chevy p/ for a friend to. Gonna b a surprise for him when he gets back from afghanistan.
