72 Blazer need advice on door boo boo fix

Hello thanks for reading ! I have a 72 blazer in decent shape , well it was LOL
the drivers door got pulled open too far and of course the hinges are now sprung and the door has a wrinkle where it tangled with the fender which actually looks to be not damaged .. I guess the first thing to try is replacing the hinges ..which brings my question ..are blazer hinges different from truck hinges ? ..I can post pics if it helps ..I just want to say always be sure your door is latched when moving your rig ..especially on a very windy day !i will consider myself lucky if changing only the hinges fixes this ..I am looking for a new door just in case but im sure the door is totally different from truck door ? anyone ? thanks Leon

You can use a truck door. You need to cut the top off and weld a plug on it, and then remove the rear of the post where it connects into the back of the door. Use your blazer door as reference. But the doors and I believe the hinges are identical.

^^^^I agree, but also take out the stiffner plate from the blazer door and use it
