Can anybody show me a pic of right where I need to notch my bumper bracket for PS?
I didn't realize this was part of the process on my 68 and I thought somebody might be able to show me a pic of a notched one or a pic with where to notch highlighted, thanks!

I installed PS on my 68 and certainly DIDN'T have to notch a thing!

I used a steering box off a 76 C10 and I had to notch my bumper bracket. I remember reading something about it on here as well. Here's a pic of mine. My truck is a 70 by the way. Hope this helps...

I have a 68 4x4, I had to buy a bracket/adaptor (flat 1/4 steel plate) to bolt the PS gear box to the frame, but other than that, no mods were needed. The pump actually came off a chevy car of some kind, but it was pretty simple. Actually, the steering column had to have a knuckle in it to clear some metal. Nothing else.

I've seen both comments "Idid have to notch" and "I didn't have to notch". I think it depends on the box and maybe the Mount,whether it's fact dimpled or not.I would say m to mock everything up and see.
