Intermittant Whine Rear Axle
Old Rear end, new bearings, definately wear on the main pin, thinking spider gears are the culprit. Ring gear and pinion throw a nice pattern and back lash is good. Noise is not a coast or accel howl. Opinions??

Re: Intermittant Whine Rear Axle
Who replaced the bearings? Did they really know what they were doing? This is not a simple procedure like a wheel bearing.
