hi,
could you give any more info. on the tailgate? is it bowed at all? also do you know if there has been any "bodywork" done to under the primer surface?

It has a slight bow at the top, about 1/4" when I lay a straight edge across the top. The dent on the inside of the gate, passenger side is about 3/8". The rest is clean and no signs of bondo when checking with a magnet.

I live here in Ridgecrest. I have handles, hood hinges and maybe a nice bench seat. The seat does not have original seat mounts. It has another type that I have seen in other trucks like ours, 67-68 models. The seat is blue and not ripped. I am interested in trading for the tail gate. I am going on vacation starting friday for a week and have plenty of time to trade. Is there anything you are looking for? Other items I am looking for are heater set up from engine bay to inside cab and 68 chevy or 68-72 GMC passenger fender. Let me know.

I will remove the handles from the 68. There are 5 or 6 hood hinges you can look at and pick from. I keep extras in case mine where out. I will bring them all. I will take the seat out to and bring it. Can I get your address; I will map directions to your house. I only live a 1 1/2 away. We got to Victorville Hesperia at leat to to three times a month. Costco and Mall shopping. Is there anything you are needing that i might have? Oh yea, here are some pics for you.

Afternoon John,
My wife has me going to a school play and then I have to hang pictures for an elderly lady on Friday. Can we set this up for another day? I am still very interested in your tailgate and a 68 Chevy /68-72GMC fender. Saturday, I may get up real early and go to the car show at Qualcom Stadiam in San Dog. Anyway, I am flexible.
