Re: Strong arms and stock sway bar??
Contact Porterbuilt... He has a cheaper solution than Airrides $500 swaybar. I got one from him and it was less than half that price.

Re: Strong arms and stock sway bar??
To answer the question, no the factory sway bar will not work. When we originally designed the strong arms we converted the sway bar mounting to the new posi link end links we have. This way we were able to get better transfer of motion from the control arm to the sway bar. It also allowed us to custom build a better sway bar for those trucks as well. We have them available for $400 or contact any of our vendors on the forum to get you set up. Thanks!

Re: Strong arms and stock sway bar??
Our sway bar is built to 1.25" od. Not sure if there is some bad info out there somewhere but they have been that size from the start. We did originally use a hollow tube bar, but the current design is a solid heat treated chromolly steel. Featuring an average tensile strength of 170,000 psi. These are the best bars you can get in my opinion.

I was pretty sure it was smaller than 1.25" because I remember thinking to myself if I would have known it was smaller than the OE HD bar, I would have used someone elses. (edit) Just came back in from checking.... mine is 1.125".
