HD vs. non HD brakes question..
I'm picking up a new truck tomorrow, it's a later model with the light duty brakes on it. I'm wanting to put all my lowering parts on it but they're HD units. basically can I run the later light duty caliper on hd rotors and spindles?
Thanks.

Are we not talking about 1" to 1 1/4" thick rotors.
HD is 1 1/4", thats what I have on my truck. Im going to say no, you will need the HD rotors. |

Re: HD vs. non HD brakes question..
Spindles, bearings, calipers and rotors must match.

Re: HD vs. non HD brakes question..
well that's a blessing in disguise i suppose as my HD calipers have braided lines on them, I was just hoping that i could get away with not bleeding the system.. lol
