A few of the trucks at Billetproof NW 6-25-11
For the second year in a row Jean and I took the trip over White Pass to Chelhalis for Billetproof North West. As it says, no billet parts or wheels allowed and the emphasis is on traditional cars and trucks with 1964 being the cutoff date.
Here are a few of the trucks that were there. |

Re: A few of the trucks at Billetproof NW 6-25-11
This one had a bit of a rough and tough attitude about it but it looks up to about any task you throw at it. The kettle Korn vendor must have made a bundle there. Ok, it's not a Chevy or GMC but the truck has been around the PNW (Yakima I think) for a long time and recently got spiffed up with shiny new paint. Not a truck but I think my son rather liked it. Just about the slickest straight axle 55 Chevy I have seen. My son fell and broke his shoulder a couple of weeks ago. I need a sun visor consession and I don't even like the things This truck had a big influence on my going back to a traditional appearance on my truck. Yep one of those F trucks but it's an old show truck that hit it's first show since 1968. |

Not a Chevy or GMC and not traditional with a late aluminum engine in it and a trick rear suspension. Supurb workmanship though. |

Hells Gate Hot Rods from Idaho was there with their wares. Well worth a look This is a real workhorse. I think it hauled several of the rat rods in attendance to the show. The betties were out in force and posing. I have no idea, I think it started as a mid 40's Chevy pickup The rest of the photos are here http://s173.photobucket.com/albums/w...roofNW%202011/ Last edited by mr48chev; 06-26-2011 at 09:37 PM. |

Great show, there was something for everyone there. I saw an Edsel and a couple of Studebakers. The slideshow is great.
