60-66's at Spokane Goodguys this AM
Here are a few truck photos from the Goodguys Spokane show this morning. We had to leave at 11:30. We’ll see what tomorrow brings:
Here’s a very clean 1966 with factory air, sunken antenna and outline lettering on the tailgate: And here’s one of the most impressive trucks I’ve ever seen. The is the supercharged glass topped long bed Captainfab shot a couple of weeks ago: Here it is arriving: A 368 pound sheet of glass covers the bed. Not sure how he fills the bottle. I was going to ask but he got swarmed with admirers. The engine is really impressive and sounds as good as it looks: And here’s the best I could do at capturing the paint. It’s beautiful in real life, much nicer than I can show in a photo: |

Thanks for the shots, Mark. I wanted to come over but couldn't. There were only 6 or 7 at Puyallup and I posted them a couple weeks ago.

And here are a few more trucks I didn’t see yesterday: How about a chopped 64-66 GMC. The whole truck looked great, and particularly the chop itself: This was in the for sale area. Not my cup of tea but had a lot of work invested: A lowered 1963 long step: And of course we had our truck at the event: |

Thanks for the pics! I always look forward to show pics, we don't have as many opportunities as the rest of the country to check out trends/rides.
Any side pics of the white extended cab??

Re: 60-66's at Spokane Goodguys this AM
That is interesting. It looks like he might have put a modern tailgate latching system in with the handle inside (which is cool and I've been thinking about trying) so the glass must lift somehow.

Re: 60-66's at Spokane Goodguys this AM
IIRC, there are hydraulic cylinders to lift the top. I didn't realize that that cover was glass. I thought it was a polycarbonite.
