New Guy With Questions

I'm a lurker on this site, but was just wondering if there is a place I can bone up on lowering my truck. I have this:

Wanting to do a 4/6 drop, maybe bag it? Not real sure. Want it to ride nice and smooth and sit fairly low. Also looking for a 18-20 plain jane steel rim to complete the look. I have a few ball joints making squeaky noises, so I'm using that as an excuse to update the whole damn thing!!

Just never done much of anything like this...but want to learn. Looking for someone to set me straight and tell me what the do's and dont's are...

Re: New Guy With Questions

I'm not the one to tell you do's and dont's but I can tell you from experience, I had a belltech drop on the same body style truck just extended cab back about 10 years ago( i know stuff has come a long way since then) and it rode like sh*t, I have bags on my current setup and it rides like a dream, if you're more worried about ride than anything else go bags
