Tail Lights?
I have been looking for tail lights for my 64 C10 Stepside.
The 1950 Pontiac style lights look pretty good although I would want them in LED's. UT I was in Las Vegas today and say a 2011 LOTUS drive by that had round LED lights with a back up light in the center ( http://s994.photobucket.com/albums/a...Taillights.jpg) These things are EXPENSIVE at $350 for a set. Anybody know where a guy can buy a light that looks like this for way less money? Or better yet, what style lights do you guys suggest? I am NOT interested in plain old truck style lights. I have been kicking over the idea of retro fitting some 2001 F150 tail lights into the fender wells of my 64. |

Re: Tail Lights?
If you like the Lotus lights you might want to keep an eye on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LOTUS-ELISE-...item256711ebcf You might also like to look at Lakeroadster's 64 Impala lights, as seen in post #5 of his build thread: http://talk.classicparts.com/showthread.php?t=13928 |

Re: Tail Lights?
I went through the same turmoil looking for lights. In the end I used the fleetsaide light cut into the fender and added some filler on the outer side to get the angle of the light better suited to the truck.
regards

I am leanibg toward LED's for sure but it seems that selection os limited and I do not know how to wire up a board full of lights to modify an old light housing. There is a set of LED 50's Pontiac lights available for around $115 that I like since it is the real glass deep red look and not the cheap red plastic. |

Re: Tail Lights?
Timely thread.
Yesterday I ordered a pair of the 1950 Pontiac tail lights for my '66 stepside. I figure I'll install them where the factory backup lights went. Ordered them from speedway motors if anyone is interested.

I know it's been a while since the last post, but what do you think of these Mustang tail lights?
