1966 GMC Suburban 4x4

This beast has been in the family for over 10 years and has been driving maybe 2 of those years. I have been wanting a fun project to get into cars and learn more about how they work. I was able to convinced my Dad to give "her" to me. After starting to work on it I found it had a lot of wiring issues and the gas tank had fell out. One glimmer of hope was the motor which is a 327 that had been rebuilt with about 4000 miles on it.

I have started the rewiring process with a 24 fuse kit from EZ wiring. It is nice to start fresh and not have to deal with the spit, glue, garbage from other people that have worked on the burb.

I have just got a gas tank from a 91 suburban and looking to install that in the next couple of weeks. For now I am running the gas from the reserve so I can get the it driving.

I would love any tips or advice moving forward on this project. Thanks in advance!

Here are some pictures of "her", I am still working on a name.

Radiator Upgrade

So I have decided to nip the over heating issues in the butt and upgrade the radiator to keep my 327 cool. Here are pictures of the stock radiator being pulled and the new aluminum 26 inches switching places.
