Key removal
I purchased a new locking cylinder for the ignition on our 65 GMC. I can slide the key out of the cylinder when it is turned to the left (ACC). Seems strange. Is that how it was from the factory or is the cylinder faulty?

Re: Key removal
That is how it was back in the day before key fobs so you can open the trunk or doors without shutting the car off. I am sure only us old guys remember that far back. The newew cylinders don't do that.
