Hi folks! Can someone be so kind to tell me what is the drive shaft lenght from center of ujoint to center ujoint for 67-72 short bed? Is it a two piece or one piece? I shortened the chasis of my long bed p/u (came with two piece) now I'm trying to resolve the drive shaft issue...thanks!

Re: Drive shaft question - help!
Many thanks! I thought I was going to be able to use a drive shaft from a short bed truck. I ended up with a 56", I need to custom cut and balance.

Re: Drive shaft question - help!
you NEED to measure your truck. All of the different engine mounts and swapping them from side to side will put the engine in different places then different trans lenths. Some swbs had one piece shafts and some had 2 piece shafts. I want to say mine is 59" center to center.
we usually want a tailshaft to center measurement. |
