Dyno'ed
Computer crapped out on me as I was posting this yesterday. I was at a local car show when I spotted the dyno. This is the first time I've seen one at a car show. I looked at my boy and made a deal - he could have an ice cream cone if I could get my truck up there. Best dollar I spent

Re: Dyno'ed
What a great little moneymaker to bring to a car show. How much did the test cost - besides the ice cream?

Re: Dyno'ed
Finally got the internet again - hopefully for good this time.
I spent $75. I couldn't resist. As far as specs, I really don't know a whole lot. I bought the engine from a fellow tin knocker who says he had over $4000 in the engine. When he sold his '68 truck, the guy left out the engine to knock the price down. It's a 350 bumped to 355, over sized valves, head surfaces at block shaved for higher compression, Holley 4150 750 cfm carb. The cam and Edlebrock RPM Performer intake were from a kit. HEI distrubuter and stock plugs. It's around 36 degrees timing and running on high octane. Long tube headers into a couple cheap turbo mufflers. Couple suggestions from the crowd were: electric fans with shroud, H-pipe, hotter burning plugs and of course - a paint job ![]() So is this good for rear wheel horsepower?
