Re: My Toy

Thanks! It needs some things, but there's enough there to work with.
The engine was overhauled before I bought it, and sounds strong, but the interior needs refurbishing, and there's some rust issues, but nothing too major.
I'll post more pictures as things progress...

I think those rims were called "Turbos" or "Turbines" back in the day, cant remember who made them.

That's a nice start for a project !

Those wheels are old Western Cyclones; http://www.akhwheels.com/pages/showWheel.php?pk=394

Buddy had a set on his 74 Charger back in the day, They'd look sharp cleaned up.....

Re: My Toy

I like it . I seen it on Craigslist and wondered if a member here would get it . I would like to see a pic of the trim tag . I wondered when I seen it if it was born a BB Sport since it had the 454. Looks like it found a good home.

Re: My Toy

The rims came with the truck---they're aluminum and are corroded at the moment. Eventually, I'd like to get either rally wheels or centerlines, but for now, these will do.

Re: My Toy

That's where I found it---I have all the original papers on it---it came from Alabama, and was ordered this way--- I guess you could call it a "factory hot rod" of sorts, since not many folks back then would order a short box step side with a big block---not really a "work truck"...
It is a lot of fun though---tires will break loose without much throttle (not that I would do such a thing, being retired and having good sense and all ;-)
