brake issue on 65 conversion
i just changed from drums to disc. used early classic drop spindels, replaced ball joints.
but adding my brake booster and Mc theres a rod issue. the rod for the old MC is alot longer than the rod for the brake booster. any idea on how every one does this ill post pic if needed thank you |

Dont have pics but some weld to proper length. I used A mc from a 76 c10 and used an adjusting nut to lengthen the pushrod. Same principal as tie rods. An adjusting sleve turned one way will spread the tie rods apart and pull them in when reversed.

Wow thats a huge difference. Is it posible to use your original pushrod and just lengthen it? If the mc is a universal type there may be adaptors for proper length. Srry couldnt be of much help

That's ok Shawn came by and we cut.and welded the.end to it.
Now were can I get bonjo bolts for the caliper. Kragen and AutoZone have one in stock but it is short and thin Posted via Mobile Device |

If not there is that place right on the other side of the freeway on charter next to taco bell has all kinds of stuff like that. I think it's called j and m or something. It's a farmers hardware store. Has a lot of goodies.
