hood mounting with no inner fenders???
so the inner fenders on my truck a rotted pretty bad and are really expensive new. so seeing as im lowering it and running big rims i was just going to take them out but the hood hinges off the inner fenders. what did you guys with no inner fenders use to hinge your hood? pics would be great

I think markeb01 might run without inner fenders. He usually monitors this section pretty closely, but you might PM him.

Porterbuilt makes some hinges you might want.

wow those porterbuilt ones are 265 im building on a budget. anyone have some pics of modified stock ones or a cheap diy set??

PORTERBUILT STREETRODS also makes a cheaper version that uses the stock hood hinge.

Did someone say cheap?
  I got a set of stock firewall mounted hinges from a old dodge dump truck and modified them. It was pretty easy,just had to make firewall mounting area about 1" longer and then bent up some new hood mounting pads and done!!

you always pay for quality, and porterbuilt is very high quality.
I will be using a buick forward tilt hood hinge like others on here have.
