One thing you might want to check is compatibility between the booster and master cylinder. Years ago I did a brake swap on a 67 Chevelle and picked the wrong booster. Looking at the back of the master cylinder there was a shallow type piston and a deep style. Whichever booster I picked up at the junk yard, it wasn't compatible with the master cylinder I was using. The brakes worked like an off/on switch with almost no pedal modulation. Swapping parts cured the problem.

Are you running a gear drive? If so which brand are you using?

Re: Maiden voyage
