Help for a 58 apache suspension update ?
I have a 58 apache sitting on a original frame, I want to do a update to disc brakes and power steering and lower it . I have a engine and tranny update to a worked up 350 and automatic. I have spent the morning looking at threads and trying to come up with something easy to do .....to swap out the front end.
I could really use some help with who makes what.....and what really works...I don't really want to clip it....but was thinking it some thing swaped in or if there was a kit...I do want to lose the straight axle and end up with something i could bag. Please feel free to toss some links to threads or sites....I know all of you guy's who have done this are going to be able to help me out big time. The body is painted and mint i just want to update and get it rolling....just built a new shop so i could get in and up in the air to start this project.

Re: Help for a 58 apache suspension update ?
When I started my 57 there weren't any kits so i had to clip it.
If I were doing it now I would talk to these guys. http://www.scottshotrods.com/ They're a site vendor and in the limited dealings I've had with them at shows they seem to be great to work with. Kim |

There are lots of threads including one this week. Look for IFS in the title or crossmember swap. This is a well covered topic
