Rear wheel cylinder 63
OK so I'm replacing my rear brakes and wheel cylinders on a 63 c10. My question is do I need to remove the stud that the hardware hooks to at top of backing plate? Under the stud looks to be a bracket that needs to be removed to be able to pull wheel cylinder out. Is this correct? Thanks jd

Re: Rear wheel cylinder 63
No the stud remains. Simply undo the two small bolts that retain the wheel cylinder to the backing plate. You might have to tap on the wheel cylinder to get it to release it from the backing plate.
