Not so sure about the all original part, but it is a nice truck. Not 20K nice, but nice.

I can't imagine it was a v8 without 350 badge in the grill and I doubt the sport bumper on a plain jane

I agree and from what I've seen, only the six cylinder trucks had idiot lights instead of gauges. I could be wrong though.

Also, the engine has smog equipment on it and didn't that come out in 1975, even in Cali?

Re: nice lot of money

I take back the 6 cylinder comment. I ran the VIN and the X indicates a 307. Learn something new everyday.

Re: nice lot of money

Thats allot of money for a Custom 10 no matter what condition it's in. This truck was the 54,823 C10 built that year so for it being rare, it isn't. Sure it's been taken care of however to me that doesn't justify a 20K price tag. These trucks were the bare bones model, look at the instrument cluster, nothing there except for speedometer and fuel, the rest are blank.
My truck came with owners handbook. Mine is an 83 Scottsdale C20 with 130K, body wise it is in perfect condition, no rust, no dents, I paid under 1K for it. It has the 350 vin M engine with A/C. I guess I could give it a paint job, original color, and put a price tag of 20K. I'd have to knock of a few dollars because it doesn't have the orignal carb.

Re: nice lot of money

307 explains no engine notation on the grill. i think only 292, 350 and 454 got engine size noted on the grill

Re: nice lot of money

From NADA;

Quote:
Average Retail Value $9,100
This vehicle would be in good condition overall. It could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A "20-footer".

High Retail Value $17,300
This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Note: This value does not represent a "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle *.

Nice truck but I'd call it average price wise since it has no options.....
