Need some starting help...

So I just installed a standard column in my 79 GMC. It was once converted to a 4 speed from an automatic. I got everything all hooked up and what not. Went to start it and it has full power except it doesn't turn over. Lights, buzzers, radio and everything works as it should, just doesn't start. No clicking or anything on the starter. Any help as to what wires to check for power or ? thanks

Neutral safety switch might need to be adjusted.

Re: Need some starting help...

I found the best way to get a good look at the wires that run to the steering column is to drop the column. Now what wire is it? IT'S the purple/white one that runs the power to the starter switch (that is mounted to the column). I run trace it from there back to the starter to make shire that its connected or not bear.
