Help code u0107???
Sup all,
I'm having trouble gettin my 72 going. We have the 04 Lq4 motor 4L80 trans. Now I can turn it on but it doesn't do anything when I hit the gas??? It gives me the U0107 code when I scan it. I've researched it on previous post with similar issues and followed everyone's advice. All grounds are good, pedal and tac module are from the donor truck, harness and computer were flashed and altered by John at Speartech. Im thinking I have a bad throttle body, but I'm not sure. If anyone has any input on this issue it would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Help code u0107???
Well the way we checked the throttle body was by connecting 12 volts directly to it to see if it opens and closes. Does anyone know the correct way to trouble shoot the dbw throttle body including the throttle positioning sensor??

Re: Help code u0107???
Your PCM cannot communicate with the TAC module or is losing communication.
Ive ran across the code several times, Its always been wiring problems, Mostly the ground for the TAC module, Not a loose connection but a broken wire near the ground connection on the back of the block. Test for 12 volts on the Pink wire at the TAC module. Test for ground on the Black wire at the TAC module. |
