E-Brake Cable with dual exhausts
Anyone have duals running straight back off headers? If so where are you running your E-brake cables? Pictures would be great if you have them.

Re: E-Brake Cable with dual exhausts
Im running duals off of long tube headers on my 84. Where are you needing the pictures? Of the whole travel of the lines or just under the cab?

Re: E-Brake Cable with dual exhausts
I don't have pics, but my 73 had duals off of headers. Pipes kicked up enough to allow e-brake cable room.

Re: E-Brake Cable with dual exhausts
the only issue is where the front cable goes, Is it under or over the exhaust are you using the original attachment point on the frame?

Re: E-Brake Cable with dual exhausts
On mine, the e-brake was in the stock location. Exhaust ran over the cable.

Re: E-Brake Cable with dual exhausts
76 with long tube and dualed straight back.
I have my tubes run under the cable. no pics either. It did take some playing around to get it all right. HAve to find a compromise for the tube routing and the cables. Take as much slack as u can out of the calbes so they are not dragging on the tubes. Drive shaft also gets in the way. |

You can convert to the 84-87 brake cables that run under the left hand frame rail.

Re: E-Brake Cable with dual exhausts
Possibly 34-3821, if the rest of your e-brake system is 77.
