What did you do with the cross member under the back of the cab?

Thanks in advance Mark

thanks, that is probably what I will do too. That is how i figured on doing the cross member for my upper rear control arms. weld it in and box around it.
By the way nice truck sounds good too.

Re: Ad frame boxing question

If the crossmembers are good most guys just box up to them. That is on almost any frame that gets boxed be it 32 Ford or AD Chevy truck.

That would be easier. I was looking at it today and it is solid so maybe I can tie into it on both ends. The frame surprisingly square now so I am leery of removing that cross member because of the cross bracing the gusseting has!

I am going to make them so I can pretty much do what i want. The kits are nice but I seem to always be doing something that makes more work than if I just make it myself.

Re: Ad frame boxing question

I removed the old cross member but we went with a Progressive cross member. I have a few pictures on my build thread.

Yeah I remember now you built the trailing arm set up. I like how you did that!
After I saw what you did. I thought about using one on mine. But I ended up going with the 76 Monty Carlo triangulated 4 link that I started to use.

My original plans were to build a triangulated four link set up. You will have a good handling set up and no wheel hop as an added benefit. Keep us posted with photos of your set up.
