front suspension

newbie question...sorry
If a 72 c10 came with a 350 but a big block was added, does the front suspension need to be changed for the extra weight up front?

Re: front suspension

When we put the 454 in my '71 lwb that orginally had a 350 in it the extra weight did not cause any handling problems. It looked like the front end dropped about an inch which gave the truck a better stance.

We replaced all the worn front end parts before we put the 454 in.
