Re: where did u get ur fender and doors? lmc? classic industries?
So far I have been fortunate enough to have only used parts made by GM. But,if you buy repro doors be sure they are the latest product. LMC won't be able to answer that question,so forget them. I would buy from someone who know's their product, even if it means paying a bit more. The regret from buying poor quality parts that don't fit will far outlast the pleasure of money saved. Whoever you call, ask specific questions about who's product you are getting and if there are any fitment or other quality issues. Buy from the one who can answer your questions satisfactorily.

Re: where did u get ur fender and doors? lmc? classic industries?
I recommend GMCPaul's 110%. They actually try all of the different manufacturer's parts to find the ones that fit the best. I just got 2 fenders and 2 doors from them last week. I Haven't gotten to try them out for fit yet, but from everyone ive talked to these doors are almost exact. LMC might save you a buck on shipping, but whats the point if the stuff they send doesn't fit? Here is an email i got from them after i expressed concern about getting the best quality doors.
"In regards to the door shells these are the latest toolings and do fit correctly. We do not sell the other brand doors made by Tri-plus or DII due to these we carry being a higher quality and you'll find we only sell the best available parts sourced from all manufacturers on any of our parts. Some manufacturers make some parts better than others such as Tri-Plus on outer rockers being the best and Apex on doors being the best so we source each part based on who out of the half dozen plus sheetmetal manufacturers has the best part rather than all of our parts coming from the same source like many companies do. Thanks again for your order and I hope you have a nice day! My Best Regards Sky @ GMCPauls "

www.GMCpaulstruckparts.com
For the shipping, if all your stuff will fit on one pallet, they can give you a break. For instance, it costs the same to ship one or a pair of fenders. I think LMC and some other places will charge you $125 per part plus another $20 oversize handling fee per large item or something. For me, 2 fenders and 2 doors shipped from GMCPaul in kentucky to NY was $250.

Re: where did u get ur fender and doors? lmc? classic industries?
GMC Paul's all the way. They managed to get an entire front clip (hood, both inner and outer fenders, core support and hood latch support thing) plus a roll pan on two pallets shipped to backwoods Idaho for a very reasonable price.
The parts were awesome, very little hammer-based persuasion/massaging to go together. I had a little issue with the lip on the inner fenders not quite laying flat against the outer fenders, but nothing one shouldn't expect for repro parts made 44 years after the originals.
