Air ride shockwave question
I have a Porterbuilt drop member with c4 front suspension and I'm in need of some shockwaves. I found a pair a guy is selling for about half price. The only thing is he doesn't know much about them.
They are Air Ride Technologies Shock Wave QA1 single adjustable shocks they have the stem on the top and I was looking online and it looked like it was possible to change that out. They have never been used just put on to mock up. Anyway just wondering if anybody knew about these and just wonder if I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and buy them new. Any help would be greatly appreciated Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Air ride shockwave question
I know you can change the end link out, I have done it before. I am not sure if that is on every model, probably best to check with RideTech.
Just make sure the bag is in good condition with no cracks, etc. Unfortunately there is always that risk with buying something used, especially when the price is really good. I would say just inspect them as best as possible. |

Re: Air ride shockwave question
Check the p/n out & see if the same that PB spec's for the DM. I have it in my notes somewhere but can't find it @ the moment....
I do know the Shockwaves spec'd from RideTech for a C4 application are not the 'common' units used on lots of other set-ups so it would be good to confirm what will/won't work before spending your $$.

Re: Air ride shockwave question
Thanks for the responses the person selling the bags doesn't have a part number so I'll probably just pass on them and bite the bullet and buy the from Porterbuilt. I'm still trying to learn and figure all this out I bought the 68 with all this already on it, it was an unfinished project.
Also, I noticed my post was move I'm still new to the forum so if I posted in the wrong place, broke some type of rule I apologize. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Air ride shockwave question
I've done this conversion with stock c4 but not with nates crossmember. We carry shockwaves in stock and if you like I can get with Nate and find you the correct unit.
