Who's truck is this???????

Is this a members truck? If so i would like to know what lift is on here if there is one and tire size?? Love how this truck looks and want to make mine sit like it. Sweet truck, and good job to whoever did the work. Would also like some more pics of the interior too and where did they get that sweet rear bumper.

Re: Who's truck is this???????

I don't know how truck it is, but looks like a 4" lift, and judging by the width of the tires, I'd say they were 255/85/16's. But I could be wrong.

Re: Who's truck is this???????

well, i thought that at first but now am not so sure of it. Another member sent me some pics of his truck with 285s on it with no lift and his sits like this:

so i was thinking maybe a 2.5 inch lift with 255s??????? i dont know for sure though, hoping the owner was a member. thanks for the suggestion though.

Re: Who's truck is this???????

I only say 4" because if you look closely at the first pic, back at the rear drivers tire, there looks like a lift block right beside it, that looks to be about 4". I know the pic is small and dark, hard to see, but thats what it looks like to me.

Here's a stock '73 K20 4x4 w/ 235/85-R16's for reference.

Looks like the white one has a couple inches added.

Re: Who's truck is this???????

I would say that's a 4 inch. Like dalaigh said, that looks like a lift block just behind the drivers side rear. One of my buddies has a 4 inch lift on his 83 with 35s, but when it had stock wheels/tires it looked about like that height

Re: Who's truck is this???????

Those are 88-91 Blazer and Suburban mirrors, I believe they were an option, and not on all the SUV's.

They actually were only an option on the 89-91 blazers and suburbans...not the 88 model year.

Re: Who's truck is this???????

86454k30 you live!!!!!!!

thanks for chiming in! i saw a pic of your truck and fell in love with it, sorry to here you got rid of it, i have done that more than once in my lifetime so dont feel too bad. So a few questions, will a Fifth wheel camper still fit behind it without raising the lip up too much?? I would of swore on my grandmas grave that ur truck didnt have a 5.5" lift! no more than 4" is what i was thinking and leaning towards 2 or 3". I appreciate you responding to the post and cudos on ur new truck, looks great. I will be posting more pics in a build thread when i get home and get started on mine which wont be till October!!! One more thing, i have installed several lift kits before but all on dodges, so any handling issues or anything you would of done different on it if you could of? thanks i appreciate all the help, this forum is awesome!!

Re: Who's truck is this???????

That would be my truck like a moron I sold a few years ago. It had a Superlift 5.5" lift with 255/85/16's with stock wheels. I ran 315s and 16x10s in the summer.

I don't have any interior pics but it had original blue interior.

The rear bumper is a 10" drop Fey/Westin rear bumper....I don't think they make them anymore.

My "new" truck has the same lift setup....this one is NOT leaving!

Re: Who's truck is this???????

If you are going to run 255's I would put a 4" lift on your truck. Mine had the larger lift because of the 35's in the summer....the 255's were winter tires. I would definitely stick with the 4" if you are going to tow a 5th wheel trailer....unless your going to lift the trailer LOL.

As far as the lift kits go here is what I would recommend:
Skyjacker or Tuff Country 4" front springs and rear blocks
Bilstein 5100 shocks(iam putting these on the red one)
For steering...Skyjacker makes a 2" drop pitman arm that IMO I like better than the steering block.

Basically keep it simple and they ride and drive just fine.

I have built a TON of these trucks and they have all been lifted 2-8"s.

I can PM you my phone number if you have questions.

That would be great! I dont get home till october(in good ole afghanistan)but i am sure i could use all the help i can get. I want to build my truck right. I agree with using the drop pitman arm, havent had good luck with the steering blocks in the past. Im in the process of ordering a lift for it, i am looking at a tuff counrty 4", leaf springs front and rear, from sdtrucksprings.com, seems like they got the best deal going on, but i may just order direct from the company like i did my last one, saved a few bucks that way. u have any pics of the other trucks that you have built?? would be interested in seeing them, just to see the differences in the lift heights. again i really appreciate your time and help. thanks

P.S. love the mirrors on both the trucks, they are sweet!
