Idiot light
Did some gen1 blazers have an idiot light for the alternator not charging?

Re: Idiot light
I believe that the 3 gauge panels had an idiot light. If your SPID is still on the original glovebox door, the 7 gauge panel option code was 1z53AM Ammeter-oil-temp ga.

Re: Idiot light
I believe there was only a guage on deluxe Blazers and Trucks and an Idiot light on the cheaper guage cluster with the lights.

Re: Idiot light
gauges were an option over idiot lights. The option cost a lot though. $10.75.
