lets hear some different exhaust setups on street/strip trucks.

i currently am running dual 3 inch exhaust with 3 inch in/out CherryBomb mufflers. all though i love the way it sounds idling, it is entirely too loud while driving around.

like the way yours sounds as well! added a picture of my cam card. i'm only runnin' a 350 punched out .060 over with 67 cc chamber heads. needless to say, my next modifcation is going to have to be the tranny as the stock TH350C that was behind the stock 305 isn't going to hold up to my foot much longer. lol

1-7/8" lonnnngggg tube custom headers, to 3" stainless to 3" flowmasters with a 4" turndown right at the 4link cross member.
GoPro doesn't have the best audio quality but I'm about the quietest (and slowest) vehicle running SuperPro in ADRA ;0)

The x-pipe is a kit from summit racing. I bought pipe and mandrel bends for the rest of the exhaust...

Re: lets hear some different exhaust setups on street/strip trucks.

It's easy Steve,,, 11.4999 means I get DQ'd because of the cage/bar not built right...,,, 11.50+ means I go another round........... assuming someone in the other lane screws up the dial worse than I (LOL)

'chasing' is a bear,, even if you cross over and leave off their light,,, with a CC3 you leave off BOTH lights, off both lights and twice at your tree,, watching that red truck go out there about 1/2 track before the 7.90 dragster gets to play chase really takes it's toll on the quicker car. I know,, when I play with the Nova I chase and no matter how many tricks the box has.... it's HARD

Re: lets hear some different exhaust setups on street/strip trucks.

Headman Hedders into 3" exhaust, Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, and 3" pipe dumping out just in front of rear tires.

Since this vid, I've added more stuff. This vid is about a year old.

i was going to go with that cam before i found the Erson cams cam that i desided to go with. Are you running a stock stall? if so how street friendly is it?
The one i went with is a touch bigger and is okay on the street minus stoplights and stop signs. all it wants to do is... unless ya feather the throttle a little. otherwise it wants to kinda stall out.

I ran the stock converter for a couple months and it wasn't too bad. The engine didn't like it, but it didn't die. Just hesitate a bit until about 1500 rpm. I could easily have lived with it.

When I got the trans rebuilt I also got a new converter (2500 stall) and it is much, much better. No drivability issues. If you didn't know what you were feeling or hearing, you wouldn't realize it had a non-stock converter. Meaning it spins just freely enough that the engine gets into some power, but not so much that it feels like something is "wrong".
